Best restaurant pizza

Dd and I are going out for a pizza tonight, we’ve got a few good independents round here but one is closed, one is tiny and one is full!
So we are left with some chains. She really fancies a pizza, I’ve been on MJ for months and haven’t eaten pizza at all so I want it to be a really good one. Hit me up with the best pizza restaurants you know of please! We’ve got quite a few in a driveable radius, which is your favourite?
ps this is not secretly market research 😂 getting dd to make a decision is impossible and I don’t want to go out for a pizza only to be disappointed!!

Sadly we are bit too far out for pizza pilgrims as that is one good pizza 😂

Ahh Rudy’s are either London or north of here. I’m on the Surrey/Hants border! Shame but we’ll persevere in the quest for a great pizza.

I take it Monte Forte in Farnham is one of the ones you wanted to go to?

L'Osteria are closest to proper Italian pizzeria pizzas for me.

@MissScarletInTheBallroom funnily enough dd went there last week not long after it had opened! She said it was okay, a bit stodgy 🫣

I don't know because I'm nowhere near you, but I'm curious as to which one you're trying 😂

We’ve looked, none within about 15 miles - I don’t mind driving 15 miles to a nice place but not to just sit in the car and eat pizza 😂
Anyway, in a complete about turn we have decided to drive to the coast and get wrapped up, walk along the promenade and find somewhere for fish and chips!!
She’s had a really rough day and we could probably both do with it.
dh and ds are on a boys night out and the other dc is at work so it’s just the 2 of us.

Thanks, had a lovely blowy walk along the seafront and even a very dark chilly paddle. Enjoyed our fish and chips (absolutely no curry sauce for either of us!!) and we are just about to head back.
Dd has had a good evening and seems a lot more cheery and optimistic after a good chat and a walk.

If you’re looking for a solid chain option, I’d recommend checking out the Mod Pizza menu. They make really good customizable pizzas so everyone can get exactly what they want. I’ve tried a few independents and love them too, but when choices are limited, Mod is usually a safe bet without the disappointment factor
