Best Center parcs?

Went for a short break at Elveden forest in thetford last week, I’ve been a few times before but felt like it’s beginning to look quite tired. Especially the swimming pool- some of it has been updated but the main pool and lot of the attractions are exactly the same as they were 20 years ago when I first visited. Cleanliness standards seem to have slipped too.

Any recommendations for CP sites that are bit more updated and fresher (especially pool area)?

The pool at Woburn is smaller but everything else is great, the rapids in particular are fabulous and the children’s pool areas so much better designed and not so dark. Changing rooms tidier and better laid out. Showers were shit though, half not working or cold 🤣

Lodge was just a basic one but cleaner and newer than the one we had at Elveden. It’s a smaller site, you’re basically within ten minutes of everything. It’s hilly and there wasn’t that much point in bike hire for adults as there just wasn’t far to cycle.

Missed the Country Club with soft play though. Nothing like that at Woburn.

Not been to the others.

We were at Winfall recently and felt that the pool was in need of refurbishment. There's a new tropical cyclone ride which is good but a lot of the other pool areas are quite tatty.
