I’m not 40 until later this year, but over the past weeks to months I’ve noticed fairly frequent (at least daily) episodes of palpitations/ectopic beats, and in recent weeks I’ve noticed my face feeling hot all of a sudden. It comes on quickly and I can’t do anything about it, it reminds me of being much younger when I would blush uncontrollably. It lasts several minutes and feels hot for a long time after.
im reasonably fit (gym a couple of times a week, long bike rides etc) but I feel quite tired and recovery is taking longer. Sleep is ok but I’m exhausted in the morning. No periods because of coil, and sex drive has been through the floor for ages.
so what do you reckon? Am I too young? Is there any way of finding out? Or should I be seeing my GP in case of something else?
