Watermelon seeds

Hi I am looking for some advice.
My children love watermelon but only the one with white seeds in, I was buying that regularly.
Now every time I buy it they have black seeds in them.
I think they prefer the white seeds as they are softer, they don't like having to pick them out.
So I'm wondering if there is a way to tell what seeds are inside them before I buy.
I did google and all I could find was some information about them being baby watermelon

White seeds in are the 'baby' melons, they haven't matured as yet. Black seeds are in the 'adult' version.

Where I live, the adult ones are oval and pretty big. Small round ones are the youngsters.

You do get seedless ones now though.
