Chinese New Year- Help Please!

Hello all

I run a town centre pub and our high street will be hosting a Chinese New year celebration, complete with a Dragon dance and food.

I usually decorate my pub for Halloween, Christmas, we've already got plans for St Patricks day etc

Would it be considered rude to decorate the pub window for Chinese New year? I don't want to be seen to be culturally inappropriate?

The decorations are beautiful!

I’m not Chinese (but have lived in China and have many Chinese friends), but I can’t see the problem. It’s not appropriating a culture, it is celebrating it!

Thank you!

We are new to the pub and it had a dreadful rep before us so I'm keen not to do anything that would be seen as inappropriate.
