Lewes Social housing

I just wondered if anyone else is in Lewes and has experience of social housing? We applied last year and we're still waiting to find out if we've been accepted or not. We have four children, 2 with SEN and the wait is killing me.

You would know fairly quickly after application whether the council say they have a duty to house you or not, what was the outcome of your application?

That’s what I’m saying. We still don’t know the outcome.
I’ve heard nothing from them since applying other than they have our application

You've rung them I take it?

We applied last year in September.

Yes I’ve rung them and emailed.

Make a complaint, that’s appalling!

And what did they say when you spoke to them (this is hard work OP)

I just asked if anyone else had been through the process of applying in Lewes? Just asking for other people’s experiences/ how long they’ve been waiting etc.
I didn’t ask to discuss my personal story

What did they say for goodness sake when you asked about your application?

Hello, we were housed after 18 months in temp accommodation to a 3 bed adapted house (hoist, lift & wetroom). Band A with OT support
