DM birthday present ideas

It's my DM's birthday present next week (in her early 70s) and I have no idea what to give her.

In recent past years I've done:

• spa day
• magazine subscription
• perfume
• jewellery
• scarf
• fancy food

For Xmas I got her a handmade wash bag with a selection of high quality skin care.

I'm absolutely out of ideas. I might go for a book (I know her taste in literature so should find that easy to pick) but think I should get something else to go with it.

Any thoughts?

A trip out somewhere? To the theatre?

My dad is in his 80s so these might be more 'old people' but hits have been an airfryer, a heated throw, tickets to a musical that we went to together.

Strangely the Cambridge Encyclopaedia of the English Language by David Crystal, it is a dip in and out book that looks at how English developed from a number of languages.

Depending on how much you are spending a kindle or kobo if she reds a lot. Something that might be more useful as she gets older because you can change the font and the font size.

Another surprise hit with my dad is a wind up radio with a built in radio and solar panel and USB slots. I got it in case of power cuts but he's actually used it a lot.
