Seems to be the theme of food for the week.

Tonights choice was Thai green curry soup with chicken, cheese and lettuce stuffed pitta bread (( usually have home made on standby but was extra lazy tonight ))

A couple of nights ago I had tomato soup with a stack of cheese on toast.

Tomorrow we're having sausage baguette and finishing off my pan of ham hock and veggie soup.

I actually think if I lived alone I'd live off things on toast and soup for dipping. It really is gods own food......and semi healthy to boot !

Last time I picked up green Thai curry soup DD wanted noodles with it and declared it just as good as the proper green Thai curry dinner I make, that takes much longer than 5 minutes so not sure why I bother.

Soup is the best. We've just had home made cream of mushroom soup with brandy in it. And roast chicken and lettuce sandwiches.

This is the Aldi, extra special one. It's surprisingly good for a supermarket soup. Salt content is rather high tho so I try not to use it too much.

Crumpets or muffins. Lots of them. Plenty of butter and whatever toppings you like. Cheese and tuna is good.

I make soup all the time in the winter months, it's really good ( so DH says) but for some reason I don't like it for supper and my DSs don't either, which is too bad as it's easy, filling and good for you.
Your Thai curry soup with stuffed pita bread sounds excellent OP, like something off a good pub's menu!
