Had anyone got hold hardware in the kitchen (taps, cupboard handles etc) But silver appliances?

I'm doing my kitchen a dusky pink (sulking room F&B) and feel like gold really goes with it so much nicer but my oven and fridge are silver.

I could possibly get my fridge wrapped but I would still have a silver (stainless steel) oven

I'm just not keen on pink with silver

Or any other ideas for alternatives?

I can't remember where I read it but mixing cool and warm toned metallic is a "thing" and more fashionable than just matching everything. ( we're keeping stainless steel fridge freezer and antique brass door knobs in our kitchen renovation).

Yep! Gold kitchen cabinet handles and door handles, gold -accented ‘mini’ appliances like toaster, kettle. But a silver tap and fridge. Looks great to me!

Oooh really?? This excites me 🤣

I always thought it was a no-no to mix

I got around this by choosing a black steel fridge and black oven, microwave and kettle. Brass taps and light fittings. My toaster is chrome, but I’ve had it thirty years and it feels like part of the family so I couldn’t ditch it after all these years of sterling service.

I opted for white appliance except the range which is black, silver and my pink tiles were a no for me

You can buy a few items that combine brass and steel, so the combination isn’t jarring, but tonal.

Doing all matching is actually dated now! I have stainless steel appliances, brass hardware and lighting, and I did warm toned polished nickel plumbing to tie in the stainless steel.

Thanks so much for this,

I'm going to go for it :)
