ADHD therapy for adults - any experience or tips?

Just that.

Struggling lately with lots of problems. Went online and got in touch with one therapist. But the vibe of the initial 30 minutes chat doesn't inspire me to trust it can help in any substantial way.

Anyone has done this? Any tips for finding the right therapist and what to expect please? Thank you!

You can get medication once diagnosed and it can be transformative.

I had a coach for a while, not a therapist. I don’t ant to talk bout me feelings I want solutions to the practical problems. Like being able to sleep!

Medication helps, but with great cost of side effects for some, including me. And it doesn't solve every problem.

I need more tools.

Thanks. I only realised the difference between therapy and coaching. I think I need to go down to the coaching path if I want tools instead of just "talking about it". I have enough talking in my own mind every day. I have lots of answers, but no solution.

Would you recommend the person you used? Would they do online sessions?
