What’s everyone up to? I’m chilling with DH, watching “ The Resident” & enjoying a Thatchers Zero. Happy that I’ve done a bit of sorting - just need to put the clothes away. Did some laundry & unfortunately ended up with a ruined bathmat, even though it was washed separately at 30 as usual. I’ve been for an eyebrow/chin wax & collected an Inpost parcel for DD16. Nice lunch of avocado on toast & an easy tea later of leftover pasta bolognese.

I bought 4 steaks for £10 from lidl today, plus I had a £10 off voucher so I was super pleased 😄😄

Got a steak tonight once dd goes to bed and will finish the white lotus season 2 (two eps left) 🥰

I'm cooking curry with dd1, listening to Alessi Rose, while dd2's in the shower. After tea, I'll shower, or dd1 will, then we'll all chill doing whatever until bed time 💤. Nice and chilled 😊

Great day here. Dog walk, cleaned the oven, bathrooms cleaned, house tidied. Tea on the go & pjs on. Sad I know but there's no better feeling than starting the weekend with a nice house...it won't last with the kids around though!

I fell over and now I'm busy feeling sorry for myself 😢

Clocked off from work. I'm watching Calendar Killer on Prime. Will give it ago - the dubbing is awful though. No idea what to eat for tea. I may treat myself to a big bowl of crisps!

DH is off to watch football and DS2 is having his friends around in the garden in our covered outdoor area (I told them its freezing) - I offered to give him money for spoons but some of them don't have proper ID at 19! Also gathering his stuff ready to go back to Uni on Sunday.

Mines been a bit meh. Currently 8 weeks pregnant and deep in trenches of hyperemesis and struggling.
Managed toast this morning after doing school run but then slept until 4pm! Think I'm just exhausted from lack of any decent foods!
Older children off to their dad's house this weekend so husband is doing steaks to try and give me a boost.

Worked till three then spent an hour cleaning and organising my business for next week.

Popped out to get something nice for tea.

Came bak and stuck a load of washing on.
Just put my comfies on and about to eat my tea in front of below deck as I love this show.

Bloody brilliant!! I got a really good rating in my performance review and I got a promotion too!! So more money all round!! Im so so happy!!
I’m currently waiting for a Chinese with my wonderful DP and we will have a few glasses of wine too!!

Just had dinner - roast chicken thighs with delicious crispy skin, which was lovely, and now having a glass of wine and going to watch Simpsons with DS before I put him to bed.

Had a good productive day at work, managing to do things with less help (I'm very new to the job, and have zero experience in the field) and came up with some good ideas of my own, so feeling quite good about myself.

Ouch! Hope you're ok. My yard is just a sheet of ice right now and I feel like I'm taking my life in my hands whenever I go outside.

Today was a busy day at work. Ended up working an hour longer than I should have to get things done. I work part time and I can't leave things unfinished between working days. I was teaching a student too which required extra concentration.

But I'm home, it's pizza Friday, I now have a cup of tea (thanks to dry January) and I ate a left over mince pie that I got the other day. 4 mince pies for 16p, I can eat them all year round 😋

Glad the working week is over! Came home and opened a bottle of prosecco with DH and had a dance around the living room with DDs. Played a couple of rounds of Guess Who with DD2 and put both DDs to bed. DH and I have had butter chicken for dinner with some samosas and rice which was delicious.

We're going to watch The Traitors and then I'm going off to bed with my book and am planning at least an hour of reading which is a real treat. I've recently got back into reading every day after falling out of the habit while caring for young children but am just starting to feel I have more time to myself.

DH is out this evening so I put DS to bed and then worked for an extra hour or so to try and catch up on a few bits. It’s been a very busy week. I’m now chilling in front of the fire with a big glass of wine, half watching the tv. I’m really enjoying the peace.

Good thanks. Busy day in the city so it was nice to get home in the warmth. Having a whisky with lemon coke (sacrilegious some might say) and may call around to a friend's quickly as I may have left my charger there and I have their coat to return.

Thoroughly unhealthy meal of mashed potato with melted cheese.

@Natsku no such excuse for me, I was pottering in my own bedroom! You be careful though, on that ice. It's treacherous.

Well I guess bedrooms can be dangerous too!
I'm going to get some more grit to put down on the ice before an accident happens. DD almost fell, was slipping and sliding like in a comedy sketch
