DP and I both WFH full time. We currently share an office which works fine most of the time, however on occasion, we both have meetings at the same time that are confidential, meaning we can't be in the same room. When this happens and the other is not in a meeting, we simply take our laptop and work at the dining table.
Today, however, we both have confidential meetings at the same times throughout the day and by default, I end up at the dining table working from my laptop alone - we both need two screens for meetings as we have to screen share, and this is causing issues as whoever works downstairs only has one screen.
So, any ideas on how to create a 'spare' workspace would be amazing. It would need to hold a screen, space for the laptop and a keyboard and mouse. We have a DD so lots of the house if toy storage however there are some options where perhaps a drop leaf desk would work? We also have an outdoor bar which has wifi/heating etc and potentially could accommodate a workstation.
Please help! Pics if you have similar set ups at home too.
