Did my online order go through

I was shopping online earlier. I went to my basket and I began the payment part. I pressed the submit button after entering my details and then I was left with that circle of death - you know that circle. I left my page open for ages but it was still circling around.

My online banking has the payment as pending. I have no other information about the order. I got no order number and no email confirmation.

I emailed the shop but got no response.

Has this happened to anyone else before?

I am just wondering if it went through? Will I be refunded or will the order continue or do I need to order it again.

Do you have an online account with the retailer? You could log in and click on your orders

Don’t order it again. Wait for it to process. If you don’t get confirmation within the next couple of days then contact the company

This happened to me before Christmas, the order hadn't been received by the store even though the payment was showing as pending on my online banking app.
I was told that the pending payment would be cancelled within a few days if it wasn't linked to an order. Sure enough 2 days later it was no longer showing on my online bank.

Thanks for the replies. I contacted the shop explaining what I explained here. You would think they would have replied to me.
