Allegation about SA DBS check

Hi, name changed for this

a few years back I went to the police to report my bf at the time SA. I was advised by everyone around me to report him due to his nature of work.
The police interviewed me and then asked if I wanted to take it further and for them to contact him, potentially arrest under caution or just a warning.
I was afraid and in the end I said no and requested the case to be closed. They said that I could re-contact them at any point.

Ive seen through social media (it popped up as a friend of a friend commented on it) that he has recently been accepted for a new role, working closely with the public, and I wondered if my allegation would show on his DBS check? He was never contacted, as I had closed it. So I wanted to show if all of a sudden his DBS will come back and show him that he had been reported? I know this sounds ridiculous, but I don’t want him to suddenly be aware of the report having been unaware until now? I feel quite sick.
thank you

For anyone reading this, I’ve contacted the police myself and they’ve said that because he wasn’t charged or convicted, or given caution, it won’t show on his DBS

Sorry you went through that.

Wouldn't that have to be the case? If they hadn't investigated or anything, isn't it a case of innocent until proven guilty?

@Chewbecca yeah that’s my thinking but I wasn’t sure. I googled a lot and google seemed to say that it would show up on an enhanced check but perhaps that means if the person has been contacted. There was a lot of conflicting info so I thought it would be best to ask the police directly

allegations can show up on a DBS check on the "other information" section hwoever generally where there is a pattern of allegations and one allegation is very unlikely to show up

@sophiec100 thank you I did wonder whether the things I found online were more for people who’ve been cautioned or perhaps repeats. He had no other history when I’d reported him, not sure about since.
thank you. I know I shouldn’t be bothered but I can’t imagine it coming out now and the thought of me being contacted by him scares me a bit. I can’t imagine it would show up as PP states innocent until proven guilty which could be the case for anyone
