Dd flew with BA just before Xmas. On the way out there was a hiccup with the previous plane and they had passengers from that flight on her plane so her seat which she’d pre selected was given to someone else and she had to sit elsewhere. No issue, it happens.
for the way back she was trying to check in online 24 hrs before so she could select a seat and couldn’t get it to work. So at the airport she went to a machine and still couldn’t check in. So she went to the BA desk and they checked her in, the lady told her what her seat number was which meant nothing to her.
when she got on the plane she was in whatever BA call their business class. Plane was nearly empty in all classes.
was the check in person just been randomly kind or might there have been a flag on DD’s account saying that her seat was messed up on the previous flight? We are just curious .
