We love a lot of things about CP. The lack of cars, the swimming facilities and general peaceful atmosphere. The last couple of times we have been we have been disappointed in the standard of the lodge. It has felt grubby and smelled slightly damp, we had a problem with the oven one time and the boiler the next.

Does anyone else feel standards have dropped a bit as of late or is this standard for most UK holidays? Would consider alternatives but not sure if it will just be the same, minus the positives about CP

Which one do you go to? We go every year and love it. My kids favourite holiday. I haven't noticed a drop in standards no.

We had a problem with a boiler when we went 20 years ago - no heating.
We called customer services and they came and fixed it instantly.

Never had a problem personally. I go to the Nottingham one

Same as above if we have ever had an issue we’ve just called customer service and they send someone out really quickly to fix it.

I’ve never had any issues with the accommodation, and I’ve stayed in lots of different types at lots of different sites.

My daughters prefer CP holidays to holidays abroad.
