anyone have this flu type thing?

I know, strange question at this time of year, but I feel like I've got the flu but without cough (apart from random here and there) or cold symptoms. Just can't move, feel ill and struggling to function. I have chronic fatigue anyway but I manage it, and work, this is more than that.

Family down the street have described similar so hoping it's not just me being more unwell and that it is likely to be a virus. Without cough / cold symptoms so hard to tell.

Me! No cough but unbelievably tired and achy. My joints hurt and my legs are like jelly. Ive probably slept most of the last few days as I feel exhausted. Horrible headache on and off and ive been having awful dreams

Yes!
Currently on day 4 of bed rest after experiencing flu-like symptoms for more than a week. Like you, I've no cough or chest problems.

I've a high temperature and muscular aches and pains, and a sore throat (left side only).

Appetite now returning and still a bit tired, but hoping to return to work tomorrow.

Hope you can take time to rest and recover soon.

Thanks, everything you're saying is as if I'd written it. It helps to think it's something going around and it's not my other issues getting worse all of a sudden. Without the usual cold and cough it was puzzling me, but I can tell really it's a type of flu. Yes, sleepiness and I'm a night owl, lots of vivid dreams, legs like jelly. Started off with awful headache, that's eased off now.

Hope you too are back to normal soon. Thanks, another one without the cough or chest problems. I'm negative for covid as well.

Oh Christ, me. I've been describing it as the plague / Black Death.

Absolutely exhausted, sore, achey, heavy, off balance, just rotten for first 4 days.

On day 5 I also got an awful sore throat that lasted 2 days on top and finally started feeling a little better today. Still exhausted, dizzy and achey.

sorry to hear you've been similar. The off balance feeling, I thought that was just me losing it lol. So glad you mentioned that. And yep today is the start of a sore throat, had this about 4 days. Hope you are back to normal soon.
