Could my newborn catch chickenpox?

Chickenpox is making the rounds at my 3 year old's nursery. He has already had it so should be fine but I have a 4 week old baby at home. If he's had it already can he carry it and pass it on to baby, or should it be fine?

I don't think he can carry it, but it is possible to have it again - especially if they had it very young and/or very mildly.

Chickenpox can be caught at any time. If yiu have previously caught it and are breastfeeding, there may be antibodies being passed across. You can't vaccinate this young, but can do if your baby manages to keep away from it for the first year.

He's had it twice, once properly when he was a year old and again when he was twoish but mildly so not particularly concerned about him, but if he can carry it back from nursery and the newborn could catch it I'll have to pull him out of nursery till it passes....
