Happy New Year - if you’re in the Gwaun Valley or if new year passed you by!

I was super sick between Christmas and New Year with this mad flu that is toppling so many people. But I am 80% better tonight so will be having a little glass of fizz to celebrate the Julian Calendar turn of the New Year as is still observed in the Gwaun Valley: https://www.visitpembrokeshire.com/articles/hen-galan-a-true-welsh-celebration

So if you missed the celebrations this year - over Christmas or New Year - due to the lurgy, then pull a seat up to the bar and have a little bit of cheer with me!

Cheers! 🥂

Yes I missed it due to ongoing illness. I'll look up Hen Galan. Yes you just want to be in bed when you're not well, don't you?
