Is this a bad date for a party?

I’m looking at booking DD’s birthday party. It’s an activity party so will only be inviting a handful of children. The weekend before her party is Easter weekend so the Saturday would be between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Do you think lots of people will be away that weekend? Am I better to wait and do it on the 26th when school has started again so people are more likely to be about?
thanks for any input.

Yes I wouldn't bother, lots of people will be away or have family plans given it's a 4 day weekend. I'd do it the end of the first week back so everyone is back to normal.

Yes, we always avoid booking parties in the holidays in case people go away. Better to do a weekend in term time.

A lot of people are usually away that weekend. My daughters birthday falls over easter sometimes and the one time i did a party then we didn't get many people able to come.

Yes I'm avoiding this weekend too for the same reason. I've found the first weekend of the Easter hols ok but not the actual bank holiday weekend.

It's up to you. I don't think there should be enough people who are not away
