Restaurants in Rochdale.

Heading over to Rochdale next week - visiting a specific service provider that is near the town centre tram stop. Any nice restaurant recommendations for lunch please? Don’t mind the type of food - just something very nice and local that might not show up on trip advisor. Many thanks!

Not as I am aware of and I live nearby. Has a large Asian community so maybe a good curry. Don't like the town so I tend to avoid it. Happy to hear someone with a positive view/recommendation

Does it need to be in the centre? The Oxford is five mins up the road, and is very good.

Nope - doesn’t need to be the centre. We are coming by tram to visit a nearby business and thought we could have a wander around/dine there before heading back. I’ll have a look at both this recommendations - especially the Jay Rayner one. Thank you both.
