I forgot to pay Ringgo - can't seem to find an answer about paying retrospectively

In my usual car park I pay on leaving, I genuinely had a brain burp as was in my own world and didnt look at the new car park signs so only clicked I should have paid after I got back.

We then put in the car reg, but only could pay for ongoing parking not for the time I had been there.

Ringgo chat isnt working until tomorrow.

There was no ticket on the car, but I am expecting one through the post with a fine.

Has anyone any experience of how to pay retrospectively?

I've been in this exact situation. I got fined, I contacted them and they weren't willing to help at all. So frustrating.

Don’t they have to leave the fine on your car? Even if you did get one through the post you won’t just be able to pay retrospectively… otherwise everyone would do this to avoid a fine

Thanks for the link @Ladybird982828289999 , that is the one I was looking at but doesn't seem to have a retrospective pay option.

Oh well, will have to suck it up when the fine arrives!

@CallingElfRescue can you remember how long it took for the fine to come through and how much it was?

@Pinkelephant66 they can leave it on the car or send it through. So I will be expecting it through!

You'll get the fine through the post in a week or two (voice of experience here!)

Hi @RG2025 wondering if you got a fine in the end here? I have just similar, ended up paying for the right amount of time but four hours late :-( .
