Has anyone done wegovy/mounjara etc and it been a waste of time?

I'm posting on here because the weight loss chat is people who are on it whereas I want to hear from people who have given up?

I've tried saxenda a few years ago and the side effects were so awful I had to give up. Wary of trying injections again but just wondered if anyone had any bad experiences?

NOT looking for advice on weight loss or anti injections thank you

A mum friend gave up as she got v bad constipation ( right from the off). that she couldn’t solve by the usual means. She did say she’s always been prone to it though. She said it did work but she couldn’t deal with the side effects.

i did mounjaro and it worked as it was meant to, I lost weight, didn’t crave food etc however I had horrendous diarrhoea and felt awful. Washed out and just crap, it wasn’t worth it for me, I’m a nurse and really not ideal to feel awful all the time. Shame as it was working really well. But def think if it works for you and the side effects aren’t too awful then go for it. I just had had enough after 4 weeks of it. That’s at the lowest dose so I didn’t dare move up

I was on MJ for 15 weeks, lost 9lbs and felt pretty awful the whole time I was on it. Have stopped and already put back on 4 of those pounds
