DS is 3. Loves Spidey and his amazing friends and I’m not 0 tv I do let him have it in bits he goes to nursery so doesn’t have screens there and at home we play lots with the odd bit of telly I try not to do much of telly

hes poorly today. Was so upset all yesterday quite warm kept crying and having little meltdowns. Then vomited tea time on wards and was wiped fell asleep at half 6

Today he’s not himself still. Still wiped doesn’t want to move much I can tell he just wants to lay down and his eyes are heavy etc he deffo has a temperature too

I try to limit screens but while he’s poorly laying down he’s asking for his favourite show

i panic about the effects etc of it as I was just shoved a screen as a kid. DH says I’m a bit dramatic and strict and a tv duvet day while poorly isn’t bad and that he even may perk up later and just start playing then

Limits on screen time don't apply for us when ours is poorly. It's okay to totally relax rules when they're ill as they're in no fit state to be doing anything else productive or interacting with you in other ways. It's fine, don't worry.
