Castor oil

I bought some castor oil from Holland and Barrett today. I can see from googling I should mix it with some coconut oil and apply overnight. Is that correct? Any other castor oil beauty tips and tricks for me?!

I met someone who looks amazing and swears by it so thought I'd give it a go 😂

Castor oil does work on your eyebrows and eyelashes. I never mixed it with anything just applied it neat. It's very thick and heavy though.
I am not a dermatologist or any kind of expert so I don't know if the benefit derives from any great magic molecule in castor oil or if you might get the same results from plain old vaseline. Remember the "Slugging" trend from a few years ago?

To make your eyebrows and eyelashes grow thicker and more quickly. Queen of the afterthought here. The reason why I said vaseline might work in the same way is that I think it is called occlusion?

Mixing a bit in with normal moisturiser seems to be the way to go.
