Contacting Facebook lost & found group without Facebook

I found something small yesterday (a bike part) and wanted to see if someone was missing it but I don't have Facebook and can't sign up at the moment as I don't have the right ID.

Is there any way of messaging a group owner without an account?

I don't think there is, unless they have put a phone number or similar on there. I would just ask a friend or neighbour to post.

Thanks, this evening I went past the spot where I'd left it by the road and it had gone, do either taken or back with its owner by now.
