Watching overseas box set - tips please

I really, really want to re-watch the Netflix series Shtisel, which aired from 2018 onward. It is my favourite tv series ever, got no idea why, I have no connection to Judaism at all. I just thought it was beautifully done and the character development was excellent.

however… it’s not available on any UK streaming platforms presumably for rights reasons.

I will happily pay a fair amount but I can’t find any service to sort this out.

There looks to be some dodgy rip offs on eBay as DVDs - but like 99% of the population I don’t have a DVD player, and would like the option to watch when out and about.

I’m comfy with VPNs etc but that’s about it as far as rights-based shenanigans goes.

Pointers really welcome.

A bit of a tangent but have you seen Unorthodox on Netflix?

@CaptainAwkward i have! I really enjoyed it, I like Shira Haas, she is also in Shtisel.
5 minutes after I posted this I found a way to watch it for £15. Just need to remember to unsubscribe after as I very definitely do not speak Hebrew and am also skint.
if you can deal with subtitles then I cannot recommend this series enough. Me and two work colleagues were absolutely glued to it at the time.

123 series is a good website to watch stuff on

If that fails what I usually do is type the series I want to watch and then next to it type watch free, You might have to go through 10 sites but you'll eventually find one that works

Another thing I used to do is log out of Netflix on my tv go into settings change my vpn to the country I need usually America - found free von online and then log into Netflix and it's American Netflix which is waaay better than uk

I think I watched the first episode of Shtisel ages ago but didn’t continue, think I’ll definitely give it another go now!
