Nixplay photo frame?

Does anyone have one of these? We are thinking of it as a gift for my MIL - there is an app so all the grandchildren etc can upload photos to it. Thought it might be better than the old style ones which use a memory stick.

Just wondering if anyone has any feedback, thanks.

I’m not sure if it’s a Nixplay we got my father, but it’s one of the ones with an app & I’d definitely recommend them over ones with memory sticks. All the family have the app on their phones & its a really easy way to share our photos with him.

I got one for my DS when he went to university and he loves it. I upload a couple of dog/cat pictures a week. It does need to be connected to wifi to update.
But don't be offended if your MIL doesn't like it. I bought the memory card sort for MIL and my parents years ago and neither of them would have it switched on even though they weren't particularly old at the time. I think MIL just didn't like it changing, preferring constant photos

I have an Aura one and it's absolutely brilliant! One of my favourite things, I bought it as a birthday present to myself... still paying it off but it's worth it. It has unlimited space, me and kids have the app to send photos from phone, really simple to use. It's lovely to have all the memories and special pics displayed without needing to choose what to frame.

Thanks all, like the look of the aura. She's pretty good with tech and likes photos so I think this would work well, plus has grandchildren who live overseas. Thanks,
