What can be wrong with my electricity?

All ceiling lights are working as usual but lamps on sockets barely light up, like there is not enough power going in. There was no incident that I am aware off, we have moved all things around, it’s consistent with various lamps in various sockets.

What about when you plug other things into the sockets? Do they work?

Your sockets will be on a different circuit to the main lights.

What do you have plugged into the sockets on this particular circuit? Is it just lamps? Anything that uses a lot of juice?

It’s business as usual, TV works, cooker, shower, all OK, just lamps.
