Need inspiration, we only have 3 hours to play with

Sit and chat over dinner in a lovely restaurant, or something a bit more active such as going bowling and having a beer

crumpet · 08/01/2025 17:06

I think I’d go for the latter

Glitchymn1 · 08/01/2025 17:07

A hike/walk, then a country pub for a meal.

jimloop · 08/01/2025 17:08

Dinner and/or cocktails somewhere we haven’t tried before

AltitudeCheck · 08/01/2025 17:08

Indoor climbing and then the pub

PrincessHoneysuckle · 08/01/2025 17:08

Meal out then get pissed

username299 · 08/01/2025 17:08

Black metal gig, ketamine, sex dungeon.

Christ0nABike · 08/01/2025 17:09

B&Q probably, so much house stuff to do

Sidebeforeself · 08/01/2025 17:12

Pub and then home for sex ( the landlord complains otherwise!)

dizzydizzydizzy · 08/01/2025 17:20

Dinner out.

JimHalpertsWife · 08/01/2025 17:21

Drive out for a Sunday roast, making sure there's wine in the fridge at home.

Kids home, quick dinner for them then off to bed so dh abd I can drink wine and watch a show.

Blarn · 08/01/2025 17:26

Food and drink out, home, sex. Probably difficult in three hours though!

Aposterhasnoname · 08/01/2025 17:27

Depending on budget, it would either be, into the city for cocktails followed by Dinner in a really nice restaurant then a few more drinks in a good bar with some live music, or full banquet for two at the local Chinese restaurant followed by a Wetherspoons pissup.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/01/2025 17:31

Pub with a jukebox and then dinner.

catscatscurrantscurrants · 08/01/2025 17:32

Pizza and then a film at a nice cinema

ItGhoul · 08/01/2025 17:34

Cocktails, dinner, fuck.

VimesandhisCardboardBoots · 08/01/2025 17:59

With only 3 hours we'd probably just do dinner somewhere and then a quick drink somewhere else

we’d hit the local dogging spot for a shag. Not everyone’s cup of tea but a good bit of fun to be had.

Whattheduck · 08/01/2025 18:16

Walk through the park to our local pub for a meal then sit by their log fire and have a few drinks

Take a flask of hot tea, it's cold out! Though vodka is readily available and a good antifreeze

reluctantbrit · 08/01/2025 18:31

Daytime:
walk followed by a drink at the pub or cram tea in a nice cafe
bad weather: museum/exhibition and then drink/tea

Evening:
Show
drinks
really nice dinner with no kids around

We just booked a pizza making workshop (2 hours) to do together.

GiddyRobin · 08/01/2025 18:31

With that time slot, I wouldn't bother with proper dinner. Nice early evening walk through the woods, taking the long way to the local wine bar. We'd get a cheeseboard and drinks. Could always have something more filling later if we were still hungry.
