If it does, is the food any good?

I used to work for a training centre - staff were allowed to use the client canteen for free! Really yummy food and an amazing perk for a poor 20 something! This was back in the 90’s though.

Hospital canteen for everyone's use. Not great, They have very few veggie choices but I do love their tomato flan which has not been on the menu for over two weeks.

The breaded fish is like cardboard. I had two fish cakes yesterday which tasted of nothing. I had to liberally salt them. Their veg is undercooked. Other veggie choices are a couple of veggie samosas,, sometimes some spring rolls, a small slice of pizza, Veggie goulash which is on a Tuesday rotated with the tomato flan and it is not very nice. Sometimes I just have pudding or chips! There is always two or three meat choices. I think today may be broccoli and cauliflower cheese. One thing I do not like is undercooked cauliflower so I am in for a treat!

Yes - not free but very reasonable. Massive cheese omelette made to order £3.

It is a hospital canteen so open to the public but it’s very very good. I work across multiple sites but my main base is great. The secondary hospital is more basic and what you’d expect in a hospital, but they have an M&S and a Costa too.
