Yes, it's been a slow day at work! Debating with a coworker the 'right' way to remove eggs from a carton (assuming you keep them in one after buying).

She just removes them going from one end to the other, i alternate from each end so the box stays 'even'. Am i crazy? Am i the only one who's dropped a box of eggs more than once cause it was completely off balance? 🤔

I was so hoping you weren't asking about chocolate Easter eggs then bit exhausted from xmas.

Just do it how you like. I start from the end and go down.

Each time I take eggs out of the box I rearrange the remaining ones so that the box is balanced and, ideally, symmetrical.

I have a sort of egg helter skelter on my worktop so I remove them all and put them in that, I think I probably just go one end to the other.

I haven't got any - menopause !

I just randomly grab an egg, whichever one my hand lands on. Doesn’t matter if it’s the middle or the end to me.

They live in a 70s brown chicken crock on the (cold) windowsill, so whatever is easiest to take out is used first.

I do what you do OP, leave the box as balanced as possible so the next time it's picked up, it reduces the risk of it being dropped.

I have an egg cupboard. From which I take eggs at random. 😃

One end to the other, but only usually buy boxes of 6 so not really unbalanced
