Will be booking taxi and the firm might know better than me .
Friend is tall and having trouble with knees , but using one crutch.
Would one of those people carrier type cars help ?
Sliding doors and not too low ?

The taxi company will deal with the all the time and will more than likely have certain vehicles which do the hospital runs just ask their advice ( I'm unstable and have hospital appointments regularly)
*Unsteady on my legs I meant!

Thanks for reminding me to book my taxi for the hospital on Wednesday! Taxi companies deal with these things all the time. Generally if tall (me too) the front seat on most taxi's are fine. It's usually the low floor (which you don't need) that needs special consideration. Just tell the taxi firm and they'll know what to allocate.

Thank you both.
I can be dense sometimes. Of course the taxi firm will know !
Thanks for reassuring.

It's not being dense at all, you're trying to be kind and helpful
( Not hospital related but I once rang a taxi to take myself and dogs to the emergency vets and the taxi company sent a very fancy car with leather interior! Who said they 'don't take animals' he did drive us there very begrudgingly, as I pointed out why else would I need a taxi to the emergency vets?!?!)

Ah, thank you @Randomontheinternet25 !
Yes , going to the vets might well involve an animal 😁
