I need to radically view food differently

Is there a book or an article or something that I can read to radically change my view of junk and processed food? I'm a well-educated person (scientist) and not overweight, but I am SO unhealthy. I eat crisps, chocolate, biscuits all day long. Convenience food really, as my life is nonstop. I need to be shocked into making a change, as every night I go to bed disappointed that I have failed for another day. My husband does the cooking, so dinners are fine. But even then I actively avoid the vegetables. I'm 39 but pretty sure I'll have T2 diabetes before long. Help!

Everyone raves about ultra processed people.

I am about to start it. That and atomic habits.

Hey. I feel you!! Can't finish a meal without something sweet.
Have you tried noom? Although it's a diet app it's all about psychology and relationship with food. I used it for a while and it really helped (although they are obsessed with grapes...)**

Thank @candlelightees I'll check that book out.

@LordyPutts I love grapes, so that might work!!

Chris Van Tulleken - search for him on YouTube or Amazon. There's also Why We Can't Stop Eating on iPlayer.

Second Ultra Processed People. Will make you very cross as well as better informed.

I also listened to Alan Carr’s* Good Sugar, Bad Sugar at about the same time. Which was a bit weird and repetitive but did really put me off Cadbury chocolate for a while, so I could do with listening to it again.

*not the one with the teeth, the one who does a quit smoking course.

I just finished reading Ultra Processed People. It had a strong effect - put me right off!! 😂

Now I'm home baking scones and pizza!

I follow fasting videos on YouTube - particularly Mindy Pelz - they have helped me with looking after myself more.
