Hobbies for late 20s

evening all

after splitting with DCs father last year and loosing lots of friends due to the messiness of it all, I’m on a mission to make new friends of my own as a single mum.

im struggling so wanted to think about joining some sort of club. I tried a book club but they have events mostly on in the evenings each week and they’re pretty far from me, not feasible with my DC. The local ones are for much much older ladies and are advertised as ‘senior’.

as well as making friends I want to do something for myself. I was with DCs father for such a long time that I’m not sure I truly know what I enjoy.

anyone in their late 20s who can give me ideas for hobbies and/or groups / clubs?

x

Is there a college or community centre locally where they do adult classes? Pottery, art, cookery, languages, clothes making, coding? What are your interests?
Or volunteering at a food bank or similar?
You can't guarantee people will be your age but they'll all be doing the same thing as you and you can bond over it.

Start your own book club. Join meetup.com or ask at your local library.

Film club, evening class, society eg history society, dressmaking, knitting, cards, board games, chess, art, hip hop dance, looking after a local area, yoga, meditation, photography.
