Mobile phone/ipad games

Am due on a long-ish flight soon, and I hate flying. Can anyone recommend any games for either android phone or an ipad that I can download to keep me occupied please, just in case the inflight films are rubbish!

I like puzzle type stuff, NY Times for example, I dont mind RPG or driving games either as long as I don't have to wait too long/watch videos/use the internet to progress as I won't have that access on the plane.

I have, and enjoy IQ Dungeon, pro snooker, Sporcle, Asphalt 8 and 9.

Happy to pay a reasonable amount if needed.

Thank you 😁

I'm probably not much help but I now have you to thank for the fact that I am now being driven mad on IQ Dungeon. I have mystery matters and manor matters

I have played a few of the scrabble games and also empire four kingdoms previously

I currently like mini metro on Apple Arcade. You keep building simple subways. It's basic but engaging.

I feel your pain 😩

Sorry for those now on IQ Dungeon, I haven't played it in a while but will be infuriating myself with on my flight I think!

Thanks for the suggestions.

Monument Valley 1 & 2 kept me occupied on a flight from Shanghai to London, though you may have played them before.

Polytopia is great too!

I usually load up a mix of chill puzzle games and something with a bit of strategy to keep my mind busy. On longer trips I’ve even used Doomsday Last Survivors Macro because it takes care of the grindy stuff while I poke around the more fun bits, which keeps me nicely distracted. Anything that keeps your hands tapping and your brain half‑occupied tends to take the edge off for me.
