Hosting our first sleepover

DD is 9 today.
We have a pretty small house but have 3 of DD's friends staying over. We have never had any of their friends to stay before.
I have just about managed to squeeze them all in to DD's room using a spare mattress and a couple of those self inflating camping mattresses, using 95% of the floor space. I've also managed to cobble together enough bedding. I think DH is a bit concerned that the beds are a bit rubbish and it all looks a bit of a mismatched state. I think it's fine for them to make do at a sleepover right?

Any tips or tricks from seasoned veterans? We're doing a trampoline park and pizza then back to ours. Should we abandon any expectation of them sleeping?

Yeah half the fun is the chaotic bedroom at this age!

I would expect the guests are all bringing midnight snacks and they will aim to stay up til then - sometimes my DD’s friends were still messing about at 1am, but a few of them would just give up and sleep around 11 to 11.30 ish.

don’t add to much to the pile of sugar, and make sure they each have a bottle of water (ideally not a cup which will get knocked over!)

Happy birthday to your dd
