I promise I am not an idiot 😬

I have a very dark hallway and have had an electrical look at it but for a reason I can’t quite remember (think it was floorboards needing lifting upstairs) putting an additional light is not an option.

I’ve tried those rechargeable lights from Amazon but they don’t last long enough.

Anyhow does this light in my link look like I need a proper ceiling light wire?

It’s just the fact people are putting them on walls and putting up several of them 😬.

Feeling hopeful that I might have found a way to light my hallway?! But I just can’t work out if it’s a proper light or not

It’s class 2 electrical classification which is mains, and one of the reviews does say it needed an electrician to fit, so I think it does need wiring.

Do you have plug sockets in your hall? If so, Google "wall lamp with plug" for some lovely options.
