ERF car seat… need some recommendations!

Recommendations please!

We don’t live near a car seat retailer and I don’t want to ask in that Facebook group…

My parents want to buy it as part of DD’s Christmas present. Trying to research but overwhelmed by the choice. Some say a spinning seat is invaluable, but I know they don’t last as long and maybe aren’t as extensively tested.

Right now we have an infant carrier but will at some point soon need two ERF seats that are fixed into each car. The carrier is getting cumbersome so as soon as we can make the transition and get a good fit in an ERF seat that is what we will do.

Looking at: Britax max safe pro, Axkid, Avionaut, besafe , possibly Joie. What would you recommend? Are there any you would avoid?

We have the britax, love it, would highly recommend and they are pretty reasonable in comparison to axkids etc

I would buy a membership to Which? And use it to look up the safest seats available. The ratings are everything I would test, and more. There are huge variety of seats out there, and some are much safer than others.

Then I would cancel the membership within a month to avoid ongoing cost.

We found this useful when in the same boat. Swedish plus tested seats are the safest on the market. We went for the axkid move but I wouldn't recommend it (although confident it is safe). It's clunky to use and so upright our little one slumps in it when sleeping sometimes. So recommend any other on there!
