Household items you keep meaning to buy but never get round to.

I've been having a bit of a post Christmas clear up and I am making a big list of things the house needs or need replacing which I never got round to doing.

Looking at my mugs, many are chipped and we could do with replacing the lot

Same with our glasses, years of dishwashing have left some opaque looking

Our towels need a good sort out, many could do with chucking and replaced

Everyone could do with a couple of extra duvet sets

Pillows could do with replacing

DH and I really need a new mattress and duvet

Would like a nice set of chopping boards

The house could definitely do with some more storage units everywhere

A filing cabinet would come in handy (although no idea where it would live)

We have been in this house for 25 years and I still don't feel as though I have everything I need.

Which things could your house do with but you just never get round to buying?

A stair basket, I've been saying I should get one for years.

We need a new kitchen table, one which extends
New kitchen chairs, ours are really uncomfortable
New plates, we have a mixture and I'd love some decent ones
Roasting tins, ours are knackered
I would love to replace some towels with huge fluffy white bath sheets

Actually, I'm off to look at some sales!

What's stopping you? If it's not money, then why not sit down this afternoon and work through the list? It'll be fun!
