I really cannot sleep tonight. Perhaps it's the thought of returning to work Monday! I'm also aware my partner will be proposing this year and all I can think about is wedding ideas and Worried we will look ridiculous due to our height differences - I'm 5'2 and he's 6'6... first world problems!

Anyway, that's why I'm up and I'm wide awake worrying about nothing substantial.

I've had an internal monologue since coming to bed at 10pm.
I have to be up in 32 minutes to go to work. I've not slept a wink.

Fuck perimenopause.

Work. My shift ends at 7.

I am a poor sleeper so I would anyway be awake at home.

Worried about my parent’s dementia and what will happen when the other parent can’t cope any more. Wondering how my friend with cancer is managing. Worrying that there nothing I can do to help.

Friendship issues , 'freind' I thought was best freind gives me the cold shoulder for a year and a half now . I wished her happy new year via text no response ... so hurtful.

My DS is travelling back from his Xmas holiday. First time he travelled alone and he decided to go transatlantic! He has an hour left of the firstmleg, then a 3.5 hour layover, then another flight before he gets safely back to me.
