Yoto mini cover

I really hope someone can help! DS has a Yoto Mini, and a silicone cover for it (adventure jacket, I think it’s called). I got it from the official site.

However he has been chewing on it. Picking off little pieces to chew. He is 8, and chews on everything. It drives me insane, and worries me too- that he is going to choke one day. It’s like having a baby and having to watch what they put in their mouths.

So this is my long winded way of asking- does anyone know of a non-chewable Yoto Mini cover? All the ones I can find are silicone.

They’re pretty hard wearing, does it need a cover at all? Especially for an 8 year old so past the toddler phase of throwing it about.

Separate note but have you seen those chewy necklaces? Could be good for him.

No suggestions but just to empathise my 7 year old chews on everything too! I am forever saying ‘take that out of your mouth’

His younger sister often gets hold of it (even though she has her own) and it unfortunately still gets dropped quite often.

He did have one of those necklaces and managed to bite pieces off! But it was actually good to keep toys out if his mouth. Might see if there is a more hard wearing one. Thanks :)

It’s a nightmare, isn’t it! Keep hoping he’ll grow out of it but I don’t think that’s happening any time soon!
