The items I am 'served' on my social feed from Wolf and Badger are totally bizarre.
I have no idea where this brand is getting any social indication that I desire a diamonte crutchless knicker.
They sell some strange stuff.

Ha ha! I bought a perfectly normal cotton summer skirt from W&B earlier this year. For the rest of 2024 I have been followed by W&B ads for crotchless and bumless knickera, mesh bras and leather collars.

Thank heaven it’s not just me!
i wonder if the upsell to crotchless knickers, works.
Are you tempted @Ginmonkeyagain 😂😉

That would irritate the crap out me. It’s like being stalked by some guy with a porn habit

I bought a gorgeous dress from there for a summer wedding - had loads of compliments on it!

I always 'unsubscribe' from websites - so haven't seen any of the above! Grin

Ginmonkeyagain · 02/01/2025 06:39

@TipsyAndObscure No - I am very much an M&S high rise shorts girl. I like a warm and fully covered bum.

It's like Wayfair for clothes with some additional weirdness thrown in. Seems to attract fairly high end (and "niche") brands. I don't understand why you wouldn't just buy direct from the brands.

Ginmonkeyagain · 02/01/2025 08:16

They provide an easy platform for small and niche designers. Some of those may not have the reach or ability to run thier own sites. Also it means you can easily search items from a range of independent designers using colour or fit - useful earlier this summer when I was looking for a smart, cream sleaveless top.

Generally I think it is a good thing. It is just their algorithms are a bit strange. Not sure what it was about the fifties style full cotton skirt I bought that made them think I was interested in sex pants.

That’s the thing isn’t it.
It’s like, customer buys shirt/dress etc
So customer must need sex pants to go with it 😂😂

It is great that it’s an aggregate for independents, but they really need to serve me something that I can at least walk in 😂

They are definitely doing themselves a disservice! I was looking at them yesterday and it has put me off if they are marketing this sort of stuff
