Either welding or low level car mechanics for me.

The diy gene - i try but I find it so hard to master

DIY. Knowing that if I attempt something the wall won't come down or I will have a water feature in the lounge.

I change my mind - I want to cancan! I can get me legs up but I cannae dance to save meself.

Mechanics and plumbing. Would save a fortune.

TBH plumbing is a lot easier to learn. Just takes nerve to put things together knowing if it fails you can totally ruin your house.

How to do French plaits

I can weld, and do basic diy and a French plait.
But would love to learn floristry, crocheting (I've tried I just can't get it) and cake decoration.

To speak the languages at which I am BASIC at a fully functional level

Practical sewing. I can cross stitch etc but make a tidy repair job of the kids school uniform or turn trousers with the knees put through into shorts? Nope.

Reading music by sight.

Sign Language and playing the piano.

Play the guitar.

DIY - it's not just knowledge, but tools. I'd like to have some basic power tools and someone to spend a few hours showing me how to use them. I need to replace a rotten window ledge and I'd really love to put coving up in some of my rooms, and I'd love to replace our skirting.

Singing.

I sound like a scalded cat. Not that it stops me, mind....

Carpentry and joinery - the proper stuff - rather than making do.

Speaking another language fluently.

Signing in tune. My mum sang in a band and my grandfather toured due to his singing- but I'm flat as anything! I used to play 3 instruments, so I guess I'm still musical, just can't sing!

I wish I knew more about how to look after the house - such as fit a tap, fix a pipe, basic electrical work. It’s on my to-do list!

I wish I could run ,fast, and jump over fences like you see in films

Seeing well without glasses. I like the look of glasses on me but getting the right ones for different activities (eg swimming in the sea) is a pain.
