Hi everyone 🥂 having prosseco with cranberry juice in it here.

On the gin here trying to drown out a horrid cold. It's not really working.

I m having gin and lemonade. Wishing I’d remembered to buy Baileys.

Im in a strange funk of wishing I was out doing something but also happy to be at home.

There is so little to do with kids round here at NYE.

However, having a nice night with DH and the kids playing games and we are all discussing how 2024 was for us. Lots of changes. A sad loss but lots of amazing new memories.

I was expecting drones, but.. what did you think of the holograms? I did not believe my eyes at some points, I was like is this been added by the BBC editing team or is it there, live?
I loved them, as much as the huge fireworks. And when Paddington appeared... loved it loved it

I must have been watching on a different channel as I didn't see the full effect.

That was me too! Here in Wales, wondering the same, but the commentator did mention them to actually be there! Amazing. Genius, I think.

Popped over to our friends. It's all couples though and DH is still away at sea so came home and watched the fireworks on tv with my DS (14!) whilst waiting to see what state DS (almost 18) arrives home in after his first grown up house party
