Has anyone radically improved their flexibility?

I am active and sporty, lift weights etc and do yoga every night to "balance out active strength training", as Adriene says!

But although it releases tension, and I'vw become a little more flexible, I'm still quite tight in hamstrings, back. Has anyone started from a low bar and seriously stepped up flexibility? And how did you do it?

Following to see if anyone has. I’m reasonably fit but very inflexible (always have been since early childhood), and I don’t seem to be able to improve it.

The Times fashion editor has written quite a lot about yoga and gradually working up to doing the splits, so in principle it seems possible.

Yes!
I already do yoga with Kassandra and weights but I started following people on TikTok and adding some mobility moves and I have improved massively.

I can’t link them all as MN keeps freezing and unloading, but this guy is excellent

but I think my most watched and most frequently used tips are from the link on my first post and the two posters I listed below that link.

I have osteoarthritis and my pain has lessened considerably doing some of their mobility movements, and if I skip a few days I feel really stiff and sore and my hips and shoulders really suffer.

@CordeliaNaismithVorkosigan yes me too! I have always been able to build strength effectively but find flexibility more difficult. And yes, I have that times article about the splits favourited!

@OhhYoureSpikey thanks, will check out! Much appreciated.
