I'm looking to switch things up this evening as DC (tw/eens) are keen to see in the new year with some kind of ceremony.
They want to a) mark the start of a new year following a challenging 2024, and b) 'super-charge' their wishes for the new year, and create a sort of momentum of intention behind them.
I suppose I'm looking for what other families might do, rooted in gratitude for past lessons and hope for joys yet to come.
We've got access to a fire, some general art and craft materials, candles, baking stuff, as well as a range of natural materials including pebbles, twigs, some perennial garden herbs (still green) and seeds.
Any amateur celebrants who fancy sharing ideas?
