Anyone else noticed this about facebook?

facebook is now showing the number of friends people have below their name on their profile even if their friends list is private..

I only use facebook for groups I am in, following pages of people such as Ricky Gervais and selling the odd thing on marketplace, I don't have any friends on facebook, All my friends are elsewhere (I'm not a huge user of social media full stop, I use whatsapp to chat to people I know and that does everything i need it to, I don't have insta/twitter/tiktok etc)

Now people can see the amount of friends people have I'm being called a scammer on marketplace.

Just making people aware if they don't know about it already.

I think you’re probably in a minority there. Most profiles with no friends are going to be scammers.

I just have a skeleton account for the kids activity groups too op. No friends or anything.

I ditched FB a while ago now once I figured out I could delete FB but retain FB messenger. Little tweaks like you have posted about that they have made over the years + all the clickbait news articles makes FB a shitshow in my opinion.
