Inspired by another thread where a lovely little boy was reunited with his lost bunny by a kind mumsnetter, I thought I’d try a similar ask…

My son lost his Dutch Bunny jellycat between Edinburgh Waverley station and London Kings Cross on 18 December. He has had her since he was 2 months old and is incredibly upset that we can’t find her.

I’ve filled out the lost property form for LNER and been to the lost property office at Kings Cross but not had any success so far. Would anyone local be able to go into the station at Waverley and ask directly if she’s been handed in? Anyone with links to LNER have any other ideas?

This is a picture of the bunny. Although ours is rather more careworn (!) with stitching coming undone on her arm and greying fur rather than cream.

I will be there on 2nd Jan OP (as long as the trains are running that day!) so if nobody else can help before then, I'm happy to take a look

I would be incredibly grateful if you could. I can PM you some more details in case useful to have when you ask. Thank so much.

No problem- I hope we can find it! My DS lost his Nintendo Switch case on the train a few months ago and was distraught , although it eventually turned up at Kings Cross lost property (we went in person, the form was useless) so don't give up hope just yet..

My brother left his suitcase on the train at Kings Cross containing his work laptop and expensive clothes.
He reported it missing but didn't hold out much hope of getting it back.
Six weeks later a knock at his door revealed a courier and his suitcase. The only things missing were the sticks of rock he'd bought whilst visiting me!
