Dd is having her 3rd driving test today. Everything she's saying is negative. It feels she's setting herself up to fail with the mindset she has.( I have not said that ). Anyway any positive thoughts /words of wisdom i can pass on?

She can do it! It took me 4 attempts and I was getting to the point that I thought I'd never pass. But when you do it's euphoric!

Try and plan something nice for after it. With my DSD I planned to take her out to lunch whatever the outcome she said she focussed on that and it helped with her nerves.

Thank you . I'm really praying she passes.

It's awful when she doesn't. She gets extremely upset. But also horrible with it. Takes it out on everyone and actually gets nasty.

On both occasions it's apparently been the examiners fault. It later turns out she did things wrong that she admits to but its still the examiners fault. I get that people go through the different emotions of upset ,disappointed anger and frustration.

But it gets hard when she's nasty.

Anyway I pray she passes

Fingers crossed for you, it’s such a stressful thing to do.

Did she pass? I hope so,

Sadly not

Is it the same faults she's failing on OP.

No different ones each time

Oh how frustrating for her. Must be her nerves getting the better of her.

Possibly I did suggest trying to gey a couple of lessons with a different instructor even if its just for feed back. And maybe have a look at her theory just to brush up a bit

Ah bad luck. Best wishes to your daughter for her next one.

It's so hard for them at the moment with the test backlog.

DD1 in a similar position but at uni so doing her test back at home, 6 hours away is hard. Tests are so hard to come by here, you've basically got to be on the cancellation app 24/7!

She's failed twice, and booked a test for April which she can't do so it's now going to be June hopefully. She's then going on a year abroad with uni so is desperate to pass.
